Haunted by the fire that got me banished from the reservation, I thought I’d spend the rest of my life carrying blood on my hands and guilt in my chest.

Then a stranger helped me start over.

Behind the lens of a friend’s camera, I caught sight of her—beautiful, fearless, impossible to ignore. She wasn’t the kind of woman who stayed at a distance. She stepped straight into my world, tore down every wall I built, and made me want things I never thought I deserved.

But darkness doesn’t stay buried forever. And when the ghosts of my past come calling, I’ll have to decide if I can let her close enough to save me… or if loving me will leave her burned to ashes.
